Application

Medicare Advantage applications, including SNP applications, typically are due by the mid-March of the year preceding the contract year. We will provide a link to this material as soon as it is available CMS is expected to release applications for 2008 SNP contracts by the end of this year. CMS currently is updating the SNP portion of the MA application to address new policy guidance issued earlier this year relating to such issues as SNP subsets and Medicare/Medicaid integration policies. 

 

CMS also will release a timeline outlining submission dates for various components of the application and SNP approval process such as 2008 applications, drug formularies and bids.
